A typical Tuesday
on the Modern Maid team
No surprises. No guessing. Here's what a real day actually looks like — because the unknown is usually what stops people from applying.
Your route is in the app the night before. You drive directly to your first client — no detours, no check-ins required.
Norwex kit in hand. Every home has a notes card — pets, preferences, anything you need to know. You're never walking in blind.
Drive, check in with Hannah if anything needs flagging, then carry on. Mileage between clients is tracked and covered.
You manage your own time. Most team members take 30–45 minutes between stops. No one's watching a clock.
Some days two clients, some days three — depends on your schedule and what you've agreed to. You're never overloaded without your say-so.
Head home. Pay deposited Fridays. If you need to update your availability or flag something for next week, one message to Hannah handles it.

You won't walk in alone.
Your first day, you shadow a senior cleaner. No pressure, no solo homes. Just watch, ask questions, get comfortable. We don't throw anyone in the deep end.
We call you that evening.
Your first solo clean is a big deal. Amanda calls you the same evening — not to check on your performance, but because she genuinely wants to know how it felt.
Amanda sits down with you.
Not a performance review. A real conversation — "Are the routes working? Is anything off?" You get to say what's actually on your mind, and she listens.
We ask if we're meeting your bar.
Most employers only ask if you're meeting theirs. We flip it. Two months in, you know us well enough to give an honest answer — and we want to hear it.
We celebrate you. Out loud.
In front of the whole team. By name. We mark 90 days because it matters — and we review your pay at the same time. Staying should feel worth it. We make sure it does.
